About

My interest in photography began when I was pretty young. I remember being encapsulated by my dad's old camera collection and used to spend hours with his digital camera taking pictures of whatever I could. When I went to college at the University of Miami, he passed his Nikon D5100 DSLR down to me and that's when my passion for the art truly sparked. I brought that camera to the Galápagos islands for my semester abroad and there I began to hone the craft. During my college tenure I learned just how beautiful science and the natural world can be, graduating with a dual bachelor's degree in marine science and biology. I am now headed to Jacksonville, FL to study shark biology for my Master’s degree at the University of North Florida

Today I take my camera wherever I go, as I explore the natural world and the science that drives it. My photography, to me, is about capturing the beauty that the scientific world has to offer and sharing it with those around me. I hope that you choose to share in it as well.
